Here are some things that I'll like to learn and have a go at:
1. Sew my own clothes and make my own shoes
Sometimes I get so fed up with the clothes and fashion nowadays, I often wish I could sew.
Being fashion-awkward, I haven't found a really favourite shop to shop for clothes yet and I'm still experimenting for this aspect. Shoes is also another problem, working shoes in particular. Sweaty feet and bad fits are driving me nuts!
2. Dabble in Pottery
I'm fascinated with pottery for some reason. It looks pretty fun to me and I used to buy those pre-packed white paster stuff to play around. Would be nice to play around with clay, and learn how to make something out of it.
3. Further my Photography skills
I stopped honing my photography skills in secondary 3 or 4, mainly because I was too busy with school work and partly because my camera got spoiled (I should have repaired it). Right now, I got myself a 2nd-hand Nikon D40 which is not bad and occasionally I use it to take some photos. I think I may start a photography blog later on to show some of photographs, after all I've taken so many and just archived them. >.<
Photography still remains one of my passions, despite me not spending much time on it. Something I would like to develop my skills more in the future.
4. Learn to play the Piano/Guitar
I was very interested in learning to play the piano when I was young. I had a small electronic keyboard that ran on batteries and I loved plonking away on it. It's a small regret that I did not pursue this interest due to other factors i.e. schoolwork and cost. My father taught me how to play the guitar a tiny bit, but I did not continue as my hands were small and it hurt trying to reached all the strings. Should have asked my father to get a smaller guitar that fit me, I suppose.
5. Write a Novel
This is something that I really want to try. I wanted to be a journalist or writer in the past due to my love of literature and somehow things didn't go that way. But now, there are websites like Lulu.com that I can try publishing my book when I do write one (I have an idea, now it's just to write it...which is hard to find the time).
